Government Asked For Work From Home Law

 The Corona virus epidemic has seen a lot of changes in office work culture. Work-from-home facilities are provided at work sites to prevent coronary infections. Under this the employee can work from home instead of his office. The government is now considering a rule under which employees will have the option of work from home.

The labor ministry on Friday issued a draft for this. Employees from the mining, manufacturing and service sectors will be included in the draft of the new law, according to a report in the Economic Times. 

For the first time a different model was developed

Facilities will be available in the IT sector- Many facilities will be available in the IT sector as per the home draft work of the Ministry of Labor. The draft also allows IT employees to get a waiver of working hours. According to the Ministry of Labor, for the first time, a separate model has been prepared as per the requirement of the service sector.

Many other features in the draft :

The new draft also provides for rail travel for all workers. Previously this facility was only for mining sector workers. At the same time, the new draft also provides for disciplinary action.

The Government Sought Suggestions On The Draft.

The Ministry of Labor has asked for suggestions from the general public on the new Industrial Relations Code. If you want to send your suggestions, you can send it to the Ministry of Labor within 30 days. At the same time, the Ministry of Labor is expected to implement the law in April.
